Flower Care Instructions

Keep Your Blooms Fresh and Beautiful Longer

At The Hanako, every arrangement is crafted with care and intention. To help you enjoy your flowers for as long as possible, follow these simple steps: ๐Ÿ’—

1. Trim the Stems

Upon receiving your flowers, trim each stem at an angle (about 1 inch) with clean, sharp scissors or floral shears.

Re-trim every 2-3 days to allow better water absorption.

2. Hydrate Your Blooms

Place your flowers in a clean vase filled with fresh, cool water.

Add the included flower food packet to nourish your blooms and prolong their life.

Refresh the water and clean the vase every 2-3 days.

3. Placement is Key

Keep your arrangement in a cool area, away from:

Avoid placing flowers near ripening fruits, as they release ethylene gas that can shorten bloom life.

4. Handle with Care

Gently remove any wilting leaves or petals to keep the arrangement looking fresh.

For wrapped bouquets, transfer the blooms to a vase of water, removing any wrapping as soon as possible.

5. Hydrate the Foam for Vase Arrangements

If your flowers are arranged in floral foam (common for event pieces), gently add water to the base every day to keep the foam moist.

6. Enjoy the Beauty

As someone who personally grew up around flowers, I hope you love them as much as I do! Take a moment to enjoy their beauty and elegance dailyโ€”it's why we created them just for you.

Pro Tip:

If you notice your flowers looking tired, re-trimming the stems and placing them in fresh, cool water can often give them new life.
